Merrill’s work consists mainly of urban landscapes in oil on linen. She has exhibited both locally and nationally. A few selected group exhibitions include the Silvermine Guild of Artists, Salmagundi Club, Catherine Lorrilard Wolfe Art Club, CT Academy of Fine Artists and Kent Art Association.
She has won numerous awards including the Grumbacher Gold Medal and several awards for excellence at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. She has created holiday cards for the Marriott Marquis, Citibank, AIG Corporation, among others and has her work in a permanent collection at the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, New Jersey. Merrill is also represented by Michael Ingbar Gallery of Architectural Art, New York, NY and formerly by The Loring Gallery, Sheffield, MA.
